Designed by Richard Hutten, the Apps furniture collection features cubed sofas with rounded corners, inspired by icons on smartphone screens. The internal structure of the sofa consists of wood, while the rest of the comfort is dictated by back webbing and a thick layered foam seat; both classic and contemporary.

The Apps Chair and Settee by Richard Hutten designs are built around an internal wooden frame, sculpted to produce the distinctive rounded square shapes. The design includes a wooden internal frame, webbing in the back, and a thick layer of foam built into the seat to ensure comfort. On the one hand, it is a very simple and therefore timeless design; on the other hand, it is entirely contemporary thanks to the flowing forms and a basic shape that appears to be based on icons displayed on a smartphone. The Apps sofa is a delightful cube with rounded corners, and is designed in one seated and two seated version, very aptly dubbed the 1.0 and the 2.0.
