Tobias Rehberger was awarded the Golden Lion as best artist at the 53rd International Art Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia. Here is unique and artistic of Cafeteria La Biennale interior design. Tobias Rehberger received the price for the cafeteria, for which he collaborated closely with Artek using customized Artek furniture in an ingenious way. With black and white stripes, mirrors and all kinds of psychedelic patterns that completely cover the floor, walls, utility shafts and furnishings, he disturbs the observer’s perception to such an extent that the latter feels deprived of all stable orientation. The cafeteria created by Rehberger is a complex scheme of geometric forms with contrasting colors, a visually disorienting environment that draws from a specific example from the past: razzle dazzle or dazzle painting – a decorative style used on ships during the First World War. Black and white colors are the beautiful basic color combination that representing the two thing that different. Located on Italy it’s appearing how synergy this pattern which inspiring of ship design become a wonderful modern cafe or bar.
Cafeteria La Biennale all the pieces are handcrafted.
