Extravagant House for Your Sight: Casa Tierra by Serrano Monjaraz Arquitectos

Blame your eyes for this bold and extravagant modern house that going to distract your eyes with its beauty. This modern house is not only beautiful, but creatively, it was made to be eco-friendly too. Casa Tierra, the name for the project that means “Earth House”, was located in Cumbres de Santa Fe, a 198 acre lot development in western Mexico City. And the bright and creative people who make this marvelous work was the people from Serrano Monjaraz Arquitectos, a well-known architect studio in Mexico.

For the design, Serrano Monjaraz Arquitectos develope it to be friendly with the environment. And then with the energetic conture from Cumbres de Santa Fe, it was nicely yet naturally fused. The exterior was quiet inviting for the eyes, the plain charcoal wooden looks concrete wall that cover the house was really represent it name, Earth House. Some natural stones, black and white shades and willow trees decorate the green garden that gonna refresh your mood. And some eco-friendly features like a green rooftop that incorporated to increase the isolation flow and provide fresh clean air for the owner is one of the creative part of the exterior. The solar collector will provide the heat for your water and energy for the house needs for electricity.

The interior design was quiet simple yet extravagant with the various material combination. The wooden ceiling with some glass walls and glass barrier for the stairs give you the warm and wide feeling. The creative work for the stairs was quite eye-refreshing. And the isolated walls and ceiling are going to increase the consistency of the rooms temperature in the house everytime and everyday. Another well prepared eco-friendly masterplan is that the material of the walls and the foundation was friendly for the planet and non-toxic for the people. So, this is one of the creative and responsible piece of art!
